April Lockhart
April Lockhart is a born on July 4th April, 1995. In the seventh grade she began to take piano and guitar lessons. That ignited her enthusiasm for music writing. In April, when she was 12 years old when she wrote her first single called Different. When she was 14 years old, April was spending a lot of time writing songs and honed her musical ability. Then, in the following months, April began to go on trips with her dad and to write songs in NY or LA. April also included additional topics in her song, Take my Hand. These topics included topics for her friends who dealt with issues such as peer pressure and disabilities, or even teenage suicidal thinking. Lockhart has her own fan base and is a lifestyle blogger at the popular Ilia the Clean Beauty brand. The truth is that she was born with no left hand, and it is what makes her different. But this isn't the only aspect that makes her unique. Lockhart's Instagram page doesn't overlook the fact that she has a disability. However, it doesn't emphasize the issue. What message is it sending? It's this That we all carry many identities, we're way more diverse than we think we are. Lockhart stated in a video interview that she didn't want to be defined solely by her handicap. She doesn't want to become a disability advocate who only talks about that. There are a lot of aspects of Lockhart. This doesn't influence my day-to-day routine. I conduct doing my job as normal and have found my own methods to adjust. It's a big part of my life, so it is important to talk about it. The journey of self-acceptance that Lockhart has taken will be one that lasts for a long time, and she has been a source of inspiration in this regard. Lockhart admits to having had periods where she was uncomfortable the way she dressed and exposed her arms. She wears whatever she wants and posts photos of herself dressed in outfits she wears on social platforms. She says that self-love is a process. It's hard to say when you'll reach the end. But, this isn't typical for people that is prone to doubts. It's important to have people around you who are aware of and appreciate your situation.
