The reason she felt it was important in order to get the attention of politicians to act to reduce global warming. Swedish media filmed Thunbergs' strike and her message was widely shared. The #FridaysforFuture protests were joined by thousands of youth from all over the world. The world's climate campaigners joined forces in the year 2019, to lead the Global Strike for Climate. This Global Climate Strike was a huge success. Over 1.6 millions people took part in 125 countries.

Nia Pease, also referred to also as Virenia Gindolyn Gwendolyn is an American actor and singer from the United States. She is famous for her role as Pam Fields (in the drama Pretty Little Liars) and Nicole Chapman (on the show Fame). She is also recognized as the actress Sydney Cooke and Karen Taylor in Walker Texas Ranger and The Young and the Restless respectively.
